The site gives the visitor an increased level of information when researching the bike and other Brompton products. The aim is that this information should be useful to both to the would-be purchaser and also to the existing Brompton owner.
The site reflects the attention to detail and thought that goes into the design, testing and development of the bike, luggage, accessories and spares. The look and feel of the site is clean, simple and easily navigable.
The new site benefits from improved optimisation so as to provide the best level of support for its Distributors and dealers.

Synopsis of areas in the site

The Company gives an insight into the design and development approach at Brompton as well as the company’s history and the people who hand build each bike.

Our Products presents the bikes, accessories and luggage in considerable detail. And has an Independent Reviews section.

Owners Info. provides the owner with tips on service, spares and general maintenance. An Owner Manual in pdf format helps provide a quick reference source for those who have more detailed points to consider.

Buying takes the user to the specific information about each country distributor and for the US, to Brompton’s new and expanding dealer network. In the UK section the user will find the UK retail price list and a full dealer list split up into seven regions.

Library provides a selection of images of Brompton ‘studio’ shots as well as fun ones of owners with their bikes out and about ‘in the field’.

To launch the site we will be asking owners to contribute their photos for this section.

Links has a review of competitive products as well as information on useful organisations and publications.

Register enables owners to record the details about their bike(s). Owners and Prospects can elect to receive product news and updates.

Brompton wants to populate the Library/In the Field section with photos from Brompton owners around the globe. Brompton will select from these photos and post them on the site, changing them from time to time. Brompton hopes to build a gallery of interesting shots showing the bikes and their owners in many parts of the globe.

Owners who want to send their photos for selection by Brompton can send them on a CD in both Jpeg and Tif formats along with a waiver granting Brompton permission to use their photos on its website. Printed photos will not scan so well, so a CD is preferred. Owners are requested to give the frame number of their bike(s) and a small account of where they were and why with their bikes.
